At 10:46 AM, a Grafton County Sheriff's deputy responded to a report of an open door at 1170 North Wilson Road in Grafton. Upon arrival, the deputy reported forced entry into a vacant residence. The deputy checked the home and outbuildings and noted holes in the floor that could allow someone to enter. The deputy was unable to secure the outbuildings. Police attempted to contact the property owner. The investigation is ongoing.
