At approximately 1:51 a.m. on Monday, June 1, Franconia Fire Department was dispatched to fire alarm activations at both 28 Academy Street and 32 Academy Street. According to first responders, the alarms were triggered at both locations. At 1:57 a.m., a responder reported being on scene at 28 Academy, a three-story building. At 2:06 a.m., a water zone signal was indicated. At 2:23 a.m., Haverhill and Newbury Fire Departments were placed on standby. Crews remained on scene for an extended period. Further details are pending as investigation continues.
