At 7:19 PM on July 17, 2026, Franconia Fire Department was dispatched to 205 Wells Road in Franconia, New Hampshire, for a fire alarm activation showing smoke and carbon monoxide. At 7:29 PM, Franconia K-1 reported that all units could stand down as the cause was smoke from cooking. The incident was determined to be a false alarm. No injuries were reported.
