At 3:59 PM on Saturday, the Jefferson Fire Department was dispatched to 225 Israel's River Road for a basement fire alarm activation. Units arrived on scene at 4:04 PM and reported nothing showing. Firefighters made contact with the homeowner and entered the residence to check the alarm system. At 4:16 PM, Jefferson K-1 reported that the alarm had been reset with no signs of fire. All units were cleared and returned to service.
