At approximately 12:11 PM, Groton Fire Department was dispatched to 12 Log Piles Lane in Groton for a fire alarm activation reported from a living room smoke detector. Crews responded to the scene. At 12:18 PM, officials reported that the alarm company had made contact and a worker on site was addressing the alarm.
