At approximately 12:58 PM, Sugar Hill Police received a callback request from Matthew Carney, who reported hiring an individual to repair a fence at 714 Route 117. Carney stated that he paid the contractor, but the work was never done and the contractor has since disappeared. A deputy is expected to follow up with Carney to take a formal report. No injuries were reported.
