At approximately 8:21 PM, Newport Ambulance unit 12 was dispatched to 222 Main Street in Newport City for a blood draw requested by the Newport Police Department in connection with a DUI investigation. The ambulance arrived on scene at 8:25 PM. The blood draw was conducted without incident. Further details regarding the DUI investigation are not available at this time.
