At approximately 2:58 PM, Whitefield Fire Department was dispatched to 129 Merrill Lake State Drive in Whitefield for a carbon monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, crews learned that the homeowner was testing the alarm. The incident was determined to be a false alarm, and units were held in quarters. No injuries were reported.
