At approximately 4:53 PM, Littleton Police responded to Walmart following a report of a toddler left unattended in a vehicle. A woman reported that a two- to three-year-old male was alone in a gray Toyota sedan with Rhode Island plates, parked near the tree line. At 4:55 PM, an officer reported being unable to make contact. At 5:02 PM, dispatch confirmed the vehicle was a gray Toyota sedan with a Rhode Island plate. At 5:07 PM, an officer spoke with a calling party in the parking lot. The investigation is ongoing.
