At approximately 9:39 AM on June 14, 2026, emergency responders in Waterville Valley were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call originating from 112 Valley Road. According to initial reports, the call had distorted audio and disconnected abruptly. Responders, including personnel from Waterville Valley Fire, began checking the area to locate anyone in need of assistance. By 9:52 AM, units reported that they had met with staff at the White Mountain Athletic Club and confirmed that all individuals inside the building were accounted for. The parking lot and surrounding areas, including the Old Nico parking lot, were cleared. At approximately 9:58 AM, responders reported they had located the source of the call and the situation was declared under control. Further details are pending.
