Brighton Fire Department and Newport Police responded Monday evening to a report of a 13-year-old female experiencing difficulty breathing at 102 Railroad Street in Brighton, according to emergency dispatchers. The call was received at approximately 11:43 p.m., and first responders were advised of a blood pressure reading of 148 over 84 and 'typical deep breathing.' Units acknowledged the dispatch and were en route. Just after midnight, a Newport Police unit cleared from the scene and returned to service, indicating the incident had been resolved.
